Here’s the roundup of stories about public relations, marketing and design that caught our eye this week:

Ariel feels “Less is more” with the Gap concept store on 5th Ave. It’s designed to remind consumers of the “joys” of shopping in-store – from Racked.

We have been all about HAPPINESS at VP+C lately. Whether it’s Pharrell’s fault or we’re anxious for Spring, who knows? It’s in the air, and we were delighted to see our friends at the Huffington Post rallying around the same theme. Margaux shared this section, so enjoy some of the happy insights they offer.

Mark shared this PSFP post about a cool Ikea television campaign from Singapore featuring real people who need help decluttering their bedrooms.

Lisa is dying to see this exhibit of Victoire de Castellane’s stunning, weird, over-the-top jewels mentioned in the Cut. And if anyone’s still looking for a belated birthday gift for her, she’ll happily accept the multi-colored candy earrings.

Meghan loved this story from Design Taxi about Federico Babina, who builds a cool conversation about the art of architecture.

Gavin was engrossed in this story from Ad Week about “marketing’s most memorable experiential moves”. He related especially to the campaign from Selfridges called ‘No Noise’ to celebrate the “power of quiet” in their stores  – even an area where major brands removed loud logos for quieter branding.
