To know me is to know that I’m obsessed with interior design, and that I marathon CSI shows on Sundays–the latter baffles most because I’m not one for anything with an ‘Ick’ factor. In fact, I refuse to learn how to ride a bike because I’m afraid to tumble and skin my knees. But alas, my eyes are captivated by marvelous décor and the macabre, which is why I’m dying over these pillows.

Simply drop-dead amazing, these canvas cushions are created by Lost City Products, a New York-based design house dedicated to making furnishings and fashions that “are informed by vanishings crafts and inspired by an urban aesthetic.” Appropriately titled ‘Forensic,’ this collection of provocative pillows—featuring finger print, blood splatter, hair motifs and more—masterfully manipulates the boundary between gruesome and good looking to call attention to people’s fascination with the “gothic allure” of evidence. The pieces are bold. They’re not for everyone. But I say bravo! Call me crazy, but I want them all.
