That’s right…I just bought this bad boy. After years of getting my elliptical on for free in my building’s silly-expensive gym, the management recently pulled my proverbial power cord. What was a girl to do? Obviously, get this!

Upon taking counsel with a friend who purchased this Hideaway Elliptical Trainer a few weeks ago, I knew that the only way for me to stay fit (depending on the day and lighting, of course) was to join her home exercise bandwagon. Honestly, unless the gym is an elevator ride away or around the corner, I’m not going to go. So, despite others’ mockery for my new equipment—some venturing to say I was crazy for thinking it would work—I must tell you, it’s a gem.

Why I love it: the put-together process was idiot proof; you can really get going on it and burn copious amounts of cals; and you can watch all of your guilty pleasures—like Wendy Williams and The Bachelor, shhh—without judgment from looky-loos. But, there is one downside—given the size of my apartment, the darn thing is stationed too close to my kitchen. I’m battling with whether eating chocolate while doing cardio is counterproductive…it probably is. Lack of will power aside, I highly recommend this little machine. And no, I’m not getting any kickbacks from the company. I just think it’s an uber cool and convenient way to work it out. Anyone else agree?
