We were so very proud to kick off a blog series on FarmacyBeauty.com this week with Jamie Graber of Gingersnaps Organic on the eve of her first book launch. The best kept secret (no longer) is that Jamie actually worked with us here as an assistant of Mark Veeder’s many moons ago. She was an entrepreneur at heart and health nut way back then and we are so happy to see her follow her dreams and succeed in such a terrific way. GO Jamie GO!

The future is here! Having only seen back to the future for the first time a couple of weeks ago, the sneaker freak in Margaret was SUPER excited to hear that Nike will be releasing the iconic self-lacing sneakers in 2016. Not sure if her wallet (or tiny NYC-sized closet) will allow for this particular pair, but she’s hopeful for the future as Nike has announced that the Mag is only the first iteration of “power laces.”

Kevin is preparing for daylight savings time. First, don’t stay up late because your circadian rhythms may wake you early Sunday morning, so do not count on the extra hour. Second, use the sun by getting as much late afternoon sun exposure before switching back the clocks, and as much morning sun exposure as possible after switching the clocks + sleep and wake up 10-15 minutes later each day a week before the time change.

Alana has always loved the idea of an oh-so-chic jack-o-lantern but has never been great with wielding knives. This glam pumpkin is the perfect DIY version with just a can of metallic spray paint and a handful of studs. Weekend project-check!
